The owner of this Golf Mk7 1.4 TSI had his car buddies telling hims was a waste of money and that it doesn't work. The owner had some rubbing issues and was scrapping along roads when he hit road imperfections. Coming over to with his K-Sports coilover, he wanted to drop the height even lower, of which we advised him not to due to the rubbing issues, but he still wanted it. Can it be done? Sure we can, provided the fenders were rolled later to avoid the fender rub.

A few hours later after tuning by our and balancing it to a perfect 50.00% cross weights, the owner went for a test drive. The difference was apparent to him, like how day is different from the night. His response was that he's gonna get everyone who were naysayers to him, have a ride in his car to see the difference. We are glad that he'll be the one who has the last laugh.

Cool Blue Mazda 2: this gorgeous street machine recently installed a set of BC V1 coilovers and booked himself a tune with us immediately. He heard of our work, was familiar with many of our articles, and knew how aftermarket coilovers need to be set up properly, tuned, and corner weight balanced to have them performing at their best.
However, head knowledge is one thing, physical experience is another. Immediately after his tune, he did his wheel alignment and gave us the following feedback: "It doesn't feel like a coilover anymore... hahahaha... it's so comfy🤣. It handles bumps and corners so much better!"
This is what has been trying to educate our readers and share with the local automotive scene, that "stiffer is not better" and that comfortable suspension actually means better road holding. "If a race car feels more comfortable than a streetcar on coilovers, then something must be wrong with the streetcar" - in many cases, the coilovers aren't set up as they should have been.
To emphasise again, we believe that all adjustable coilovers will benefit from and . It is not just for race cars which is a myth perpetuated for decades.
Another myth is that higher-end premium coilovers are comfortable and thus don't need to be set up. This is false. No matter whether the coilovers are high-end or budget-oriented, they still need to be done right. The value of buying higher-end coilovers wouldn't be there if it's expensive and giving you sub-par performance. It's like buying grade A5 wagyu beef only to overcook and char it.
