Past weekend the first round of the 2015 Swedish National Drifting Championship (Drift SM/RM) took place at Gröndals Motorstadion and it became a cruel competition... ;)

Alexander Kvist had a shake-down in his mean S14 and he was quite satisfied with the car but some adjustments and corrections will be made to the next round. A slight mistake at the eliminations ended his competition this time: He ended up mid-field at 15th of 36 with many of the favourites behind.

Good work, Alex and team! You will be back... ;) :D

A nice video from Bilsport Performance & Custom Motor Show 2015 with a lot of Shining Monkeys!

Well, all of the Monkeys didn't make it into the video but some did: the video starts with Alexander Kvist / Alex Kvist Driftings really cool S14 and then the drivers Michel Rayes and Rasmus Möller Drifting from Team Pony Drift (Official) appear in some cool competition shots.

What a great Phantom Supra fly-by-pic!

It really was an epic raceday in the Örebro town centre a couple of weeks ago... :)
So many thousands of WHPs in just some hours on public roads must be some kind of Swedish record! And Shining Monkey was of course there; the Phantom Supra got VERY much welldeserved attention. And Robin Antonsson has evil plans for the 2015 season...

We'll be back on that! ;)

The Swedish National Drifiting Championship is ending up in a very exciting final round this weekend. In the Shining Monkey Modified class there are 10-15 drivers that actually could end up winning the serie! So if you want to see the drifting titans of Sweden go head-to-head; be at Gröndals Motorstadion this Saturday the 27th of September... It will be an epic Shining Monkey drift clash! B-)

Here's a great video from the Timeattack.nu Final at Gelleråsen, Karlskoga on the 10th of August. We were very well represented on the track by some great teams/drivers and felt real proud to be a sponsor to this great event. And of course: all winners got a set of Shining Monkey products! And it's pure GirlPower! The car is owned and driven by a newcomer in TimeAttack: Olivia Ejdervinge. During the Timeattack.nu finals she was introduced to track racing by a real pro, Alx Danielsson, who gave her invaluable racing tips and advices on the car setup.

We're convinced that she will be battling hard in 2015, she's obviously MEANing business: just have a look at that car... ;)

The Mantorp Park lap record breaker is also attending Gelleråsen, Karlskoga this Sunday for the Timeattack.nu Series Final!

The Timeattack.nu Series Grand Finale this weekend at Gelleråsen Motorstadion will be a HARD battle and we will be there! And some of the drivers are, of course, preparing their race missiles with the best stuff there is... ;)
