First time at Red Bull Ring.
Expected laptime from a very rapidly done simulation before coming here 1.38.98.
I just came in after doing 1.38.89
Its surpriaingly accurate!

Hi,
I have started a new job at KTM so I have not had any time to make any new videos for a couple of months. But looking at what's already available I see that they explain the physics of riding and how this can be simulated with Fastest Lap calculator very well. (even if they are a bit nerdy). So if you have not watched my videos before please go to Wiese Racing at Youtube and watch all 17. It will probably make you faster and it will for sure make you understand the physics about being fast a bit better.

Hi,
Lately there has been a lot about simulations for the top riders and we have showed how well the simulation describes the performance of a very very good rider. Some of you have wondered whether FLC is of any use for the average track day rider. It’s true it is easier to get a good match between the simulation and the rider for a world class rider. (Take a look at the comparison between Aegerter and FLC which was posted earlier), reason simply being that a world class rider like Aegerter or Filip Backlund in BSB rides very close to the theoretical limit and the program is always on the theoretical limit.

To show how a less talented and experienced rider can make use of FLC we put a GPS (hand made by Sten Lindgren who likes building GPS’s as much as I like making simulations) on my youngest son Lukas while he was out on his third track day ever.

His motorcycling experience can be summarised with:
- He made the track driving licence course at Sviestad in April 2014, that was the first time he rode a motorcycle
- He has been doing two half days at Sturup raceway during the spring 2014
- In August 2015 we went to Gelleråsen to join Filip Backlunds track days. This is where the logfile is coming from
He does not have a motorcycle drivers licence so he has not even been riding on the street:, To make it short: He’s a beginner!

Follow the pictures and you will see it wasn’t that hard to find useful information also for a beginner. If it’s useful for both professionals at the highest level and for someone doing his third track day I would guess it’s useful also for you!
