Some stories are meant to come full circle.

During Monterey Car Week, we met Martin — the new owner of LOTEC, the legendary German automotive brand.

His connection to LOTEC is anything but ordinary. His father was at LOTEC back in 1984, when the brand was still building its legacy. Years later, Martin wrote a thesis and business case on LOTEC during his school years. Just eight years later, he became the owner of the very company he had studied — with a vision to take the brand into its next chapter.

In the film, Martin talks about the incredible LOTEC Sirius — a true piece of German automotive history. Powered by a 6.0-litre Mercedes V12 with twin K*K turbochargers, the Sirius produces up to 1,200 hp and 1,320 Nm, with a claimed top speed of 400 km/h.

Now, together with LOTEC, we’re excited to see where the next chapter takes this incredible brand.

CTEK’s NXT 5 has received a perfect five-star rating from Germany’s leading specialist motorcycling magazine, Motorrad.

During a three-month test, the NXT 5 was put through its paces on motorcycle, car and motorhome batteries. Motorrad praised its ability to charge different battery types, including lead-acid, AGM, gel and lithium.

Their verdict: “Compact, robust, safe and user-friendly.”

With 5A charging, smart charging technology, reverse polarity protection and CTEK’s connect-and-forget functionality, the NXT 5 is built to keep a wide range of vehicles ready to go.

One off the great events we went to the first HRE Cars & Coffee, hosted at Mad Dogs & Englishmen.
We spent a couple off hours walking the street surrounded by some really cool and unique cars. There was something new to see around every corner.

Datormagazin gives seal of approval to CTEK's RB4000!

We’re proud to share that Swedish tech magazine Datormagazin has awarded the CTEK RB4000 jump starter its “DMZ Rekommenderar” seal of approval.

The review gave a 5/6 rating and said: "The CTEK RB4000 is a perfect tool to keep in your car as a proactive measure – whether for your own use or to help others." It added: "The Swedish CTEK RB4000 is a modern jump starter designed for demanding users."

The review highlights the RB4000’s compact design, powerful 4,000A peak current, ability to start larger vehicles, and up to 45 starts on a full charge. Its safety features, including spark-proof operation and reverse polarity protection, also received praise.
