A rare Alfa Romeo Spider from the years when Italian design was changing, but the soul of the roadster was still untouched.

This is the 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Series 3 “Aerodinamica” Quadrifoglio Verde — one of the most distinctive versions of the Spider story.

What makes it special is the contrast: the classic Alfa Romeo recipe is still there — front engine, rear-wheel drive, 5-speed manual gearbox and the legendary 2.0-liter Twin Cam — but the design had already entered the 1980s, with sharper aerodynamic details, a stronger presence and a very different attitude from the earlier Spiders.

And that is exactly what gives this car its character.

A curiosity worth knowing: the Series 3 was called “Aerodinamica” because its shape was updated with the influence of wind-tunnel thinking, bringing integrated bumpers and a more modern body treatment to a car that still carried the spirit of the original Pininfarina roadster.

This example has been fully restored in close collaboration with national hill climb champion Emil Ghinea and is now prepared for its next enthusiast.
