π₯ Why do we build our crash bars with 26.9mm x 2.6mm steel while all OEM bars and almost all the rest of the market are using 25mm x 2mm? π₯
25mm x 2mm bars are easier to manipulate (!) and much cheaper in cost!
On the other hand, 26,9mm x 2,6mm wins in every category:

Massive Energy Absorption (+37.4%): Because there is 37.4% more physical steel volume in the wall profile, your bars can deform and drink up a massive amount of impact energy before that force ever reaches the motorcycle's engine casing.

Unmatched Bending Strength (+46.3%): When a heavy adventure bike drops hard onto a rock, a standard 25mm bar is close to its structural limit. Your 26.9mm bar is nearly half again as stiff, resisting structural collapse completely.

Thin walls (like 2 mm) dent and kink much faster under high impacts compared to thicker walls (2.6 mm)!
So, not all crash bars are created equal.
