O Grupo Angel Pilot nasceu com a empresa do mesmo nome no ano de 1991 dedicando-se inicialmente à comercialização de motos de água e respectivos acessórios, sendo uma empresa pioneira neste ramo, não só em Portugal mas também na Europa. Com o passar dos anos e alteração das necessidades dos mercados, a empresa começou também a comercializar Motos e Moto4. No ano de 2003 foi inaugurada a actual sed

e do Grupo e em 2004 adquiriu-se um espaço no Estaleiro de Portimão, o que despertou a necessidade de criar uma nova empresa com o nome de Porti Nauta que se dedicasse inteiramente à comercialização e prestação de serviços a embarcações. Anos mais tarde foi também criada a Pro-Rent, uma empresa de aluguer e organização de eventos com motos, moto4, jet ski e barcos. Assim, a empresa está hoje dividida em quatro negócios diferentes: Angel Pilot Água, Angel Pilot Terra, ProRent e Portinauta. A Angel Pilot Água dedica-se à comercialização de Jet Ski, Motos de Água e respectivos acessórios e peças; a Angel Pilot Terra dedica-se à comercialização de motos de estrada e respectivos acessórios e peças, a Pro Rent dedica-se ao aluguer e organização de passeios de barco, motos de água e moto4 e a Porti Nauta dedica-se à comercialização e reparação de embarcações.
