I recently made the switch from an Audi A6 to the S05. On paper, it’s a downgrade.... there’s no real comparison between the two.... but surprisingly, it doesn’t feel like one at all.
After putting around 1,000 km on it across motorways, city traffic, and country roads, I can honestly say I’m not missing the A6. And for someone who’s genuinely into cars, that’s a big statement.
Yes, part of this could be the excitement of driving something new, but even factoring that in, the experience has held up. The driving dynamics are completely different.... especially compared to ICE, hybrids, and even typical PHEVs.... but in a way that feels refreshing rather than compromising.
I’ll share a more detailed take over the weekend, but for now, if you’re considering buying it, I’d say go ahead. It’s a decision you’re unlikely to regret.
