450,000$. Some would say hey I should invest that in stocks. Some might say let’s buy a property. But there are some who would fancy some new ride. And their choices are endless. They could buy an Aston Martin Vanquish, a V12 GT Cruiser. Or Ferrari F12, a V12 super monster. Or they could buy an Aventador S, ultimate V12 super car.
But there are some would say you know what, I want a V6 Ford. Because it is not an ordinary ford. It’s a GT 40, full on carbon fiber light weight turbo charged 647 horse power road legal race car. A Lemans Monster on the road.
Body is totally made of carbon fiber. It is so light that the power to weight ratio is insanely 467 HP per ton. Rear wheels get power from 3.5 liter turbo charged v6 engine through 7 speed dual clutch gear box and accelerate the car from 0 to 60 miles in just 2.8 sec right up to the top speed of 216 MPH. 2.8 SECONDS that is enough to show how good the engine is.
Body is specially design to be as aerodynamic as the Laws of Physics allows it to be. In the track mode the car totally changed. It lowers 50 mm and rear spoiler extends. The whole scene is a bit of drama. It’s not only a show off but in a stroke the down force increases from 54 kg to 145 kg.
So all in all it is around half a million dollars mind boggling v6 racer which is road legal. And sadly I can’t think of any more positive things about this car.
First of all it is no way near as pretty as a half million$ car should be with rear exhaust looks like pig’s nostrils. It is not comfortable and interior looks rubbish and cheap. I mean most of super cars manage to avoid 1 of those 2 characters like the interior of Ferrari is rubbish and interior of initial Mclaren SLR was plasticy and cheap. But kudos to Ford to have both.
And the engine. It doesn’t sound good at all. It is just rubbish noise. No way near sounds as any of Ferrari or McLaren or Lamborghini. May be the ford should stick it to race track because there are some people with money who whenever walk by a window, they feels unavoidable desire to lick it.
Some cars make your journey worth going somewhere, some makes your arrival an event or some make you feel like you have arrived soon as you entered in the car. But there are some which make you want to happily drive in to ditch just to end the journey. 450,000$....!!!! I would rather eat the money. In coins

When I heard that ferrari has announced a new 950 HP rear wheel car I thought that's the recipe of a disaster. That much horse power and I mean THAT MUCH, with no four wheel drive, it is just gonna end up in tree. But when the car was released I found that the technology used to make this car is absolutely unfathomable and compare to its predecessor, its like in a different century.

It has a 6.3L V12 engine which pumps out 790 break horse power and 663lbs of torque. And it has a lithium ion battery which work as kinetic energy system (KERS) which generates another 160 horse power which adds up to a whopping 950HP.

You’d think getting on for a thousand horses would make the LaFerrari all but undriveable on the road, but it simply doesn’t. The V12 has been optimized for high-rev horsepower, the resulting hole in the torque curve (the V12 engine doesn’t do its best work until north of 5,000rpm) filled by the electric motor. That means instant throttle response, razored responses and the most natural-feeling hybrid in existence. In terms of on-road driving, after a while, and if you can forget the limited-edition status and million pound pricetag for long enough, it’s no more intimidating to drive than a 458. It rides well, you can see out of it and the 7-speed F1 ‘box works beautifully. Find a decent empty stretch of road though, and you can warp the weft of spacetime with the LaFerrari’s acceleration. It handles fabulously, too – with the delicacy you expect of a Ferrari, but the punch of the Space Shuttle. Really though, it’s not a hybrid – it’s a V12 megacar with electric nitrous.

Carbon and lots of it. The ‘seats’ are actually just pads attached to the carbon tub, with the controls adjusting to suit. The pads are bespoke-fitted to the driver, and you sit shoulders low and knees high, like in a racing car. Saying that, it’s very comfortable, and vision is good. There’s a full digital dash, swathes of Alcantara and an awful lot else. The only thing you should really be interested in is the steering wheel, which houses the big red – slightly tacky – button to rouse the drivetrain and the Manettino dial, which allows you to figure out how much of a hero you want to feel like on any given journey. It’s quite noisy thanks to all the bare carbon, but you’ll forget all that as soon as the V12 gets singing. There is literally nothing quite like it.

in old days aston was used to be symbol of beauty and lust.. whether its DB9 or Vanquish or any other.. But sadly those days are gone because of this...

In 2010-2011 Maclaren had launched the new master piece Maclaren MP4-12C which was designed, well not really DESIGNED but built to compete with the Ferrari 458 Italia. Now my favorite car of 2011 was Ferrari 458 Italia and still among the top 5. And as for maclaren, they say that yes, the Ferrari 458 is an amazing machine and they absolutely adore it but they can prove that in every scientific and mathematical way there machine is batter and amazingly they are right. It is faster around the track, It is less expensive, batter made, more comfortable and in every possible quantitative measure, it is ahead. But as I think of that and some might agree, it was humor less it was more like a machine which is used in eye surgery. Whereas the Italia is like a horse with some mustard stuck in its bottom.

Now recently Ferrari launched the spyder version of 458. And ironically, here is a new chap on the road. It’s called the Maclaren MP4-12C Spyder. And one thing I can assure, it is fantastic machine to own. Fantastically made and with even more fantastically complicated electronic aids, this cars weighs around 40 kg more than the coupe. Engine in it is not the same as u get in the coupe, but it’s an updated version o that V8 twin turbo charged monster which ment that it can produce up to 616 hp which is insane. And to transfer that amount of power to the road I has a 7 speed SSG dual-clutch gear box. And that means it can go o from 0-60 mph in only 3.1 seconds. And all the way up to 204 mph.
Now in my opinion all super cars in spyder versions are useless. You know that they are good but you also sense that they aren’t as good as they should or as the can be. The chassis is not rigid enough. It rather spoil the idea of the super sports car. but when it comes to popping out from one of these at parties, nothing can compete withe e super car spyders.
There is only one reason u buy a super spyder car coz u want to be show off but if that impression you want Maclaren is not good enough.. It looks boring. There is no X factor in it. There is no soul. It is not the best looking super car so if you pull on the lights and someone in Ferrari spyder pass along, he will look at you with a smug face.
But personally my vote is not or Ferrari 458 Italia Spyder either. You will soon know to which my vote goes to..
