Metzeler is a German motorcycle tire company founded in 1863. Originally producing a variety of rubber and plastic products,Metzelerexpanded into aviation, automotive and motorcycle tires. Metzeler has manufactured motorcycle tires since 1892 and their history goes hand in hand with the history of the motorcycle. Focusing on quality and performance, Metzeler’s mission is to continuously develop products on the cutting edge of technology to meet the needs and expectations of motorcyclists. At Metzeler, most of the people are passionate motorcycle riders themselves. This means that they know the needs, expectations and the requests of the riders. The Metzeler brand stands for premium quality in all market segments, from high-quality mattresses to our fire-hard seating systems for aviation, from railway traffic to special foams in the automotive area. The company logo, the elephant, was derived from this concept: in 1906, Metzeler brought an elephant to the International Automotive Exhibition in Berlin, which tried in vain to destroy a tire by stamping on it. Even today, the elephant stands for products of the highest quality. Today, Metzeler is one of the largest global manufacturers of polyurethane foams. It's Dean's world and we're all living in it! A Fourth Gold Cup for Dean Harrison, who was unbeaten in Scarborough at Oliver's Mount, winning every Supersport race including the Gold Cup which was won in tricky damp conditions.
