The most sold motor vehicle in history: the Honda Super Cub, moving the world since 1958.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on this 1963 Honda Super Cub C100 in its patina and, almost period-correct form. Sitting at the height of the early first-generation era, it carries the iconic 49cc pushrod OHV 4-stroke engine, seamless 3-speed automatic centrifugal clutch, and that timeless pressed-steel monocoque frame.

Seeing it from the rear angle really highlights the genius of early 60s Japanese industrial design. That sweeping pressed-steel rear fender flows straight into the monocoque body, completely eliminating the need for bulky frame tubing.

It still has its original factory harness, marked with the C100 reference number, the year stamped and the Sumitomo mark 🌸

Stripped down like this, you can really see just how remarkably slim this early frame was compared to its successors.

Under the grime and patina, the authentic factory Beaver Brown is still very much preserved.

63 years old and still running…

We tried everything to keep it as preserved as possible, and keeping this 1963 survivor alive wouldn’t be possible without the help of our friends locally and overseas 🇯🇵 🇻🇳 🇹🇭
