MANIBELA Manibela is a motoring magazine show that brings you the latest in the automotive industry. Manibela airs on UNTV (UHF Channel 37) every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. PHT.

Manibela β€” the Filipino term for steering wheel β€” is a weekly motoring magazine show that offers the latest in the automotive industry. Its segments shift the spotlight on different automotive trends; cool and practical features of various makes and models; and prized collections of motoring aficionados in the country. It also provides motorists with helpful road safety tips, a public service advocacy aptly captured by the show's tagline, "Mata sa kalsada, kamay sa manibela (Eyes on the road, hands on the wheel)." The program is hosted by award-winning veteran broadcaster Kuya Daniel Razon. Going the extra mile, he combines his passion for motoring with his other interests to introduce game-changing innovations. The most notable of which is the state-of-the-art Wish 107.5 Bus where artists can perform their music while on the road. His other projects include the UNTV Radio Mobile Booth and Dunong Gulong, a mobile alternative learning system (ALS) classroom in partnership with the Department of Education. - 90-Day Preventive Suspension: Inatasang agad na isuko ng drayber ang kanyang lisensya sa Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID).

- Impound Order: Inilagay na sa alarm ang sasakyan at kasalukuyan nang tinutukoy ng Law Enforcement Service (LES) upang agad na ma-impound.

- Kaso at Paglabag: Inatasan silang humarap sa LTO Central Office sa Oktubre 27, 2026 para magpaliwanag kaugnay ng paglabag na Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle at iba pang posibleng pananagutan.

"Ang pagkakaroon ng lisensya ay may kaakibat na responsibilidad hindi lang sa pagmamaneho kundi pati sa tamang asal bilang motorista. Kung may pananagutang kailangang harapin, hindi dapat takasan," paalala ni LTO Asec. Lacanilao.

CHEMICAL SPILL, FAULTY SYSTEM CAUSED MV JUNE ASTER FIRE β€” BFP

A deadly combination of spilled chemicals and a malfunctioning ventilation system triggered the fire aboard MV June Aster off Coron, Palawan, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

BFP Officer-in-Charge Wilberto Rico Neil Kwan Tiu revealed that rough sea conditions during the voyage from Baseco, Manila, to Coron caused stocks of chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) and asphalt to fall and mix in the ship's rear cargo section. The corrosive and highly combustible chemical mixture was then ignited by hot air emitted from a broken ventilation system.

The September 9 maritime tragedy has claimed 77 lives and left over 60 others injured.
