Ever wonder why we strictly ask for a Full Tank (until first click) and a Gas Receipt upon vehicle return?
We recently ran into a situation where a unit was returned, handed off, and marked checked in—only for us to discover later that the fuel tank was left short. When we reached out to clear the fuel difference, we were met with: "You already cleared me out when I returned the unit, so this isn't my responsibility anymore."
Lesson learned! To protect both our renters and our business, and to avoid this kind of misunderstanding moving forward, here is our strict policy:
🔹 Return Full Tank (until the first pump click).
🔹 Present Gas Receipt Upon Return as proof of refueling.
📌 Important Note: A simple vehicle handover or initial return check does NOT waive unresolved fuel obligations. Complete release of rental responsibility is only finalized once the fuel level and gas receipt are fully verified.
