Survey: To you as a Parent/guardian, would you pay to have your teenager learn how to maintain a vehicle, such as how to give a vehicle an oil change (and other general vehicle maintenance)?

If yes, then this could be something we look into setting up in the new year.

The reasons why learning how to maintain your vehicle is so important is because it can help prevent the vehicle from wearing out faster and therefore helping you save money from needing to repair and replace so many other things that begin to breakdown faster.

Most people drive vehicles, and there aren’t many queues or opportunities around to help people learn how to maintain them.

And once you have the checklist, and the general steps, maintaining it will come natural, just as it comes when you first learn to drive manual.

Once you’ve learned, you’ll realised how simple it is. This doesn’t necessarily mean you need to change your oil every time, but at least you know what needs checked and what needs done.
