Must be time for a wee update... since selling the Te Kuiti side of Spec Auto to Otorohanga Auto Electricks, We decided to spend some time in Northland. We ended up doing a few jobs up here and these are some of the more interesting ones..

Had to de-loom the engine bay in a sweet 1970 Chrysler Valiant and replace a steering lock solenoid on a R35 Nissan Skyline GTR...
Obviously the owner insisted that I take it for a ”test drive” to make sure everything works 😁

The Boss is heading up the Sky Tower this Saturday for the Blood and Leukaemia Foundation, Hopefully not having a heart attack half way up.... Might be a free day off on Monday. Turns out the donations are pretty slack much like his preparation for the run (Hard to find time in-between fixing cars and trucks to go for a run with 25KG on your back) But we will see how this goes, Watch this space.

What a busy end to a very busy year, just in the last few weeks we had 2 brand new trucks to do a complete fit out an entire fleet of heavy machinery and light vehicles to service air conditioning and all the usual batteries and alternators etc though the workshop.

The team at Spec Auto would like to thank everyone who supported us though out the year and wishes everyone a great Christmas and New Years we will see you all in the new year.

June is Battery Month $5 Trade in on new Century Batteries, all you need to do is just bring your old battery into us and buy a new Century battery and we will even fit it for free.

The days are getting colder and much like us at Spec Auto batteries don't like the cold, so if you vehicle is getting hard to start or just want to know if your battery is good, call in and see us on the Corner of Ward Street and Hikaka Street for a free battery test, don't get caught out with a flat battery this winter.

Batteries Start from $99 Fitted less $5 Trade in.

It’s Starting to look like a Ford dealership around here and this is after dropping off 3 other Ford Rangers to customer’s... 🤔
Luckily they aren’t all broken 4 Eroad installs, replace a broken brake lamp, a set of spark plugs and one alternator.

Saturday mission broken down truck in the live lane on State Highway 4... called out by TRT Hamilton after removing most of the dash found the fault... Time for a beer. 🍺
