Interesting job on an old forklift today. Glow plugs wouldn't light up. Traced back to a blotchy repair job due to the relay controller being faulty. Fixed the dodgy repair and found the actual cause to be a loose cap in the controller. Soldered and tested. No way was I making the client spend $1200 on a new controller.
