It’s a sad goodbye after 16+ years to our mate Jacko who left us to wander in the afterlife yesterday.
He came into our lives after wandering on to the car yard after being dumped in Sanson by his owners, who when tracked down, said we should keep him because they were moving to Aussie anyway. We have been blessed with having him in our lives.
Jacko was a common sight at the yard in his younger to middle age. Often seen greeting people and roaming the back alley way.
Jacko mate, I hope where-ever you are, there are lots of lamp-posts and plenty of places to explore..

$6,995 – 7 seats, 4WD and plenty of value.

This 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander VRX is the later facelift model and has just had a fresh WOF and service.

178,000km
2.4L petrol
Automatic
4WD
7 seats
Leather interior
Towbar
Alloy wheels with good tyres

Why only $6,995?

The paint on the bonnet and roof has some blemishing. Rather than trying to make it a $9,000 car, we’ve priced it accordingly and let the next owner decide how much the paint matters to them.

Mike’s take:

For $6,995, I reckon this is a bargain. It’s the facelift VRX, has seven seats, 4WD, leather, a towbar and good tyres. If you need a practical family SUV and aren’t worried about having perfect paint, this is well worth a look.

$6,995 drive away.

One of those random car facts that nobody believed me about…
I used to own one of these early Honda Civics, and whenever I told people it actually had a proper boot — not a hatch or liftback — they thought I was wrong.
Well, here’s the proof.
A proper little boot on an early Civic.
Who else remembers these? And who else thought they were all hatchbacks?

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there tomorrow.

Hopefully there’s a bit of family time, a good feed, maybe a cold one — and not too many jobs on the list.

We’ll be enjoying Sunday too, then Monday morning it’s back into it at CWMC.

There’s plenty of fresh stock around the yard, a few more vehicles on the way, and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into another week.

Enjoy Father’s Day, and if a new set of wheels happens to be on the wish list, you know where to find me on Monday.

Good people, fair deals.
