Couple of nights ago we headed into town for dinner, stopping first at Cobden tiphead to watch the sunset. Would have to be one of the best things about living on the West Coast - and by the sea, the sunsets, true sunsets with the sun setting into the Tasman Sea. 🥰😍

SHOWCASING MOTORCYCLE RENTAL & TOURING COMPANIES

We are starting with Ride-in-Tours, based in Tours, France.

Tours is the largest city in the Centre-Val de Loire region and the capital of the Indre-et-Loire department. Set on the banks of the Loire River, it lies approximately 240 kilometres southwest of Paris, between Orléans and the Atlantic coast.

Travelling from New Zealand, you can book through our national airline Air New Zealand fly to Paris via the beautiful Singapore where you can stop off and enjoy everything this beautiful city has to offer.

Fly onto Paris with Singapore Airlines where we tend to spend a couple of days recovering from jet lag and enjoying the city, we then take the train to Tours - a journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Once there, spend a day exploring the remarkable sights and rich history of this beautiful region before collecting your rental motorcycles from Rodolphe, your welcoming English-speaking host. Alternatively, join one of Ride-in-Tours' guided motorcycle tours through France and across Europe.

With stunning views overlooking the Kaipara Harbour and farmland you can make this place a special weekend getaway where you can visit the world class sculptures at the Gibbs Farm or the Kaipara Coast Plant Centre and Sculpture Gardens. Spend the day riding around the rugged and untamed West Coast beaches of Piha, Muruwai, Te Henga (Bethells) or visit the Woodhill Tree Adventures.

Only 30 minutes north of Auckland and 38 kms to Wellsford on the infamous State Highway 16. A lot of riders refer to this ride as Highway 16 Loop; so the locality makes it ideal for guests to use Janma’s as a base when riding around the north, whether it is to the top - Cape Reinga or for day rides where you can visit either coasts and return home to relax at this quiet location.
