On Thursday, we had the privilege of joining the organisers of the Bayleys Sheepdog Trials, along with the many local sponsors and supporters, to present a cheque to the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter from the proceeds of this year's Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials.
It was a special moment and a reminder of what can be achieved when a rural community comes together behind a great cause. This year, together, we raised an incredible $35,669.42.
Even more impressively, over the four years the Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials has been running, this amazing community has now contributed more than $110,000 to help keep the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter flying 🚁.
That is a milestone everyone involved should be incredibly proud of. We're proud to play a small part in supporting this fantastic event and standing behind rural New Zealand.
