Well, a very happy new year to all. Hopefully, 2023 will be the year that will distance us from all the trials and problems that have plagued us over the last few years.
To those planning to marry this year.
Muscle Car Weddings NZ is seeking expressions of interest regarding using our vehicles, to hire for your big day.
Out of the three we call our own, two are available and the other is not far away from being prepped for use.
The current vehicles we have available are quite different, but both fit the American muscle genre well.
1990 Pontiac Firebird.
Specifications:
Air-conditioned,
Removeable glass T-Top roof,
5.0 L V8 and 4-speed 'manualmatic' transmission.
Loud stereo with sub and amp.
underglows.
This car looks and sounds amazing with its current setup, and would be the most economical of the three V8's we own.
The engine is being enhanced bit by bit over time but has plenty of torque that you can really feel.
The car seats four, including the driver.
For those over 180 cm tall, the rear seats may be a little cramped.
Depending on how far you would be traveling.
Most muscle cars are like this and are still comfortable enough to ride in.
The passenger seat has plenty of room for anyone.
This Firebird has nice metallic red paint, that looks fantastic in the sun.
We have contacts if you have a particular car in mind, and we will do our best to source it for you.
Currently based in Canterbury, we are looking to service this area only for now.
However, we are looking forward to going nationwide in the near future

The second vehicle we have available is our 1997 Dodge Ram.
If you want a 4x4 wedding, this is your truck!
There is seating for 5 adults of any size Plus the driver.
It's pretty unique, currently sitting on a 7" lift and running 35-inch tyres on 12-inch wide rims, this is one of the more 'extreme' second gen Rams on our NZ roads.
Specifications:
5'9L Magnum V8, 4-speed auto with overdrive.
Air conditioning,
Blackout window tints
Loud stereo with amp and sub,
Sky Jacker lift,
4X4. The side exit exhaust sounds mean, with the added attraction of exhaust cutout that lets those bald eagles scream 'Murica' without restriction. (to be used in off-road situations only).
This is a very comfortable ride. Due to the Lift, you get a 'truck-like view' of other traffic. The Magnum V8 has plenty of torque spread right across the power range making it a comfortable ride.
In 4X4 low in a straight line, it's a total blast and super quick from 0-60 if you floor it.
This truck looks as good as it sounds. Sporting a double roll bar with spotlights, a tasteful bullbar with a curved lightbar, and nice, factory black gloss paint with red accents.
This one opens up a whole new realm of possibilities to wedding vehicle hire as it can pretty much go anywhere.
It looks just as good on or off-road. It is only as limited as the imagination of the planner.

First cruise into Rangiora after a decent cut, polish n wax. Looking as shiny as she is, why not show how good she can look?

Why wait for daylight?

Shouted her a drink of her choice at her favorite spot in town in exchange for some photos.

We now have two of the three cars on the road and available for hire. This one, and our Dodge Ram. 'Bit of an unusual combo, but expressions of interest are welcomed.

Been busy. Red Pontiac firebird is all legal and on the road. Added a ton of cool parts to it and is a blast to be in.

Stay tuned as we are almost onto our blue '72 firebird.

As previously mentioned, we have a ton of performance and cosmetic upgrades prior to our official site and business launch.

Hey Guys,

Getting our business off the Ground has taken longer than first anticipated.

However, We are Progressing!
A quick update on our vehicles currently being worked on:

1997 DODGE RAM

Our dodge has many upgrades carried out over the last 12 months with all new parts:

Rear brakes,
front end steering geometry including all Ball Joints,
a set of SkyJacker Steering Stabilizers.

They not only look cool, but the truck is rock-solid in the steering compartment.
Leroy & I installed an exhaust dump before the muffler, opened and closed by a remote.
Will try and upload a couple of vids of open versus closed sound
I will never tire of 'The Fun Button'

Our 89 Pontiac Firebird is finally been through compliance.
What a mission!
We have a few things to attend to before going back for the re check.
We have 21 Days from today. (26/01/21)

We have a bunch of cool new parts ready to be installed once in the system, and will update each time we add something.

The Photo's supplied are how the car looks now, and hopefully will be complied shortly.

BLUE FIREBIRD

Our 72 Pontiac Firebird is currently set to get some cool performance parts added as we continue working away on tidying it up in our spare time. The parts are arriving soon, but the project will see us through most of 2021 before it becomes legal again.

Then, God Willing, we will Launch the business officially, and be ready to take bookings.

So I think that about wraps it up for now.
I hope to update as we go, and are excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The Boys & I can't wait to share our vehicles with those of you that want something a little more lively than a horse and cart, a limo, or older slower classics.

Hey there people, Let us introduce to you, the second vehicle available for hire. It's a 1972 Pontiac Trans-am. This is the blue car in our cover photo at present. This one, well, let's just say that this car is proudly the ' Muscle ', of Musclecar Weddings NZ. It Boasts a very healthy 455 cubic inch big block V8. Yep, in today's lingo, the engine is around 7.45 liters. It is a 4-speed manual too. This is the one you would hire if you wanted to step back into 1972 and experience the amazing ' punch in the gut' torque, rapid acceleration, sound, smell, and g-force that this muscle car was built to deliver. This is an attractive car to look at and is pretty much one of America's finest looking Firebird Trans-Am's to come from the muscle car era. The color, the ' ss Cragar ' wheels, and huge rear tires really set this car off. It has twin 2.5-inch exhausts with a pair of Flow-master mufflers that turn down and 'Dump' just before the Differential. It revs out and goes hard.It has taken me years to master NOT shredding the tires first through third gear! Its Brutal, and Scary-Fast. It sets off car alarms whilst trying to behave its self and blend in. It has never let me down and is a blast to be in.This one seats four and is not for the faint of heart!😎😉

Hey There people,
We are a father and son business offering the experience of riding in an American muscle car. We are based in North Canterbury.We currently own three vehicles and hope to be adding more vehicles to our business in due course.We hope to have the business up and running by early 2018.

These cars are way too cool to keep them to ourselves and we wish to share them with others to experience the fun times with us. The cars can be hired for all kinds of functions. Weddings as in the name of the business, where you would be hiring the car/s and driver/s to get you where you need to go in loud, obnoxious 'in your face' style only an American vehicle is able to pull off.

We are looking into the 'Adventure Drive' aspect as well.This would consist of taking you to a track for some 'hot laps' and maybe a blast down the quarter mile drag strip too. If you wanted to.

Anyways I will describe each vehicle in depth so you will know what type of vehicle suits your individual needs.

Okay, I'll begin with our Black Monster truck.It's a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500.It has four-wheel drive, seven-inch lift, boasting a fuel injected 5.9 liter 360 V8 Magnum, with side exhaust that sounds amazing! This truck will be available for off-roading in the form of mudding, and generally gettin' dirty. It seats six people in comfort, Seven if you put your mother in law in the back!....I guess I'll leave that up to you! (light hearted joke) 🤣😆
