Had a customer reach out to me with a 66 Ford Mustang that had been parked up in a shed for 10 years. The engine was not running and they wanted me to get it going and get it back on the road .So I hooked up the car trailer went out to their place and dragged the old girl on to the trailer.. brakes locked and got it back to the workshop where l carried out a full inspection and over haul of the brakes and drive train. Adjusted all rockers and set tappets rebuilt the distributor replaced all fuel lines and filters flushed the fuel tank and had the carburetor rebuilt. Reassembled the engine timed engine up and tuned the carburetor. Replaced all fluids road tested vehicle .Then gave the vehicle a full engine bay and underside degreased water blasted vehicle and cleaned the interior along with a full Cut and polish. Then drive the vehicle for WOF and passed.
Loaded the vehicle on the trailer and delivered the vehicle back to the customer. Customers will have a great surprise when they get back from America after completing their Route 66 adventure to see their Mustang brought back to life.
