This is a 1955 Chevy 150, NZ new and one family owner right here in Pirongia/ Te A. It was in Whitianga as a tow vehicle for the boat- and it had a little swim some years ago. This full restoration started with sourcing 2 rear guards and the boot floor from the USA and sourcing a floor panel from the South Island. I did the necessary repairs and then the vehicle was acid dipped. The vehicle was primed, bogged up and painted up. The vehicle's rego was on hold for some years. It was then WOFed by Pirongia Action Automotive and the family now a restored beauty to show off.

An ongoing restoration- this Beetle came in for a resto. It was stripped down and acid bathed to remove all the paint and rust. Some panels were sourced new and others were repaired. The roof skin was removed to repair rust. The body was sent to be painted at Fleet Image. The Beetle was then VINed and put back together. It is in the process of being complied and ready for Summer Cruising.

This a 1982 Holden Kingswood that came in for rust and full respray, powered by a Toyota V8, supercharged. This was a VERY drivable ute.

Back in 2022 I tidied, resprayed and made rally fit this factory built Lancier that raced in the Rally of NZ in September 2022. The car originally came to NZ in the early 80s with a French racing and they left it here so now it's a current NZ rally car.

I don't only do cars- I do restorations on trailers. buses, campers and even tractors. This very big project was a challenge. It was found in the a forestry block in Taranaki and we transformed it into a mobile Barber's trailer which you may recognize from around the place.

Restoration in progress. The before photo of an early 60's Renault Flouride. The vehicle is now ready for prepping up for painting. A fair bit of work has gone into the job to get it to this stage. A bit to go- but watch this space.

This Is a VH Commy- an Australian import. I'm getting this gem ready for it's motor cert and repair cert. Once that's completed it will be ready for compliance and once that's done it's ready for some Summer Fanging.

Great to see some Cool Cars about. I'm restoring the 1966 Mark 1 Cortina on the right and the maroon one on the left was getting a WOF next door at Pirongia Action Automotive.
