This communication is to advise that we have lodged an Electrical Product Safety Recall - Component Replacement Campaign notice with MBIE in respect of an output connector clamp (battery clamp) that does not meet the relevant Australian and New Zealand safety standards. The clamp is included with the following range of Projecta Battery Chargers:

• AC008, AC015, AC040, AC080, SMC150, SMC400, SMC800

The products previously passed all safety standards when they were introduced to the New Zealand market by Griffiths Equipment Limited, but the material composition has changed within the past two years without our knowledge or approval.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, and we can assure you that we have taken every step possible to provide a streamlined and efficient experience for all concerned.

We trust our proposed actions & response will highlight our focus on product quality, customer safety & satisfaction.
