When this camper was on the road heading up north, they unfortunately sprung a leak in their fresh water tank!
So it was out with the plastic welder to repair the crack and get them back on the road again.
A quick repair and they were back on their way to enjoy the rest of their travels — with plenty of fresh water on board!
Another little job here at The Panelshop EBOP to help keep you on the road!

Nearly 10 years in the making, and there were definitely times when Andy nearly gave up, but I’m so glad he never let it get the better of him!
The RX3 is finally complete and cruising the streets of Tauranga!
Between Sam and myself, we’ve probably put 400+ hours into panel beating and painting Andy’s RX3, getting all the lines, gaps and bodywork just right. Then Andy has spent the last few years putting all the finishing touches together — and WOW, it looks AMAZING!!
I’m so bloody happy to have been part of this project and to have helped bring this awesome classic back to life.
After nearly 10 years, she’s finally finished and back on the road — just in time for summer!
Enjoy the cruising Andy, you’ve definitely earned it! 🍻👌

This one is a little different, as I’m honestly a little lost for words and didn’t quite know what to say.

With the sudden passing of Haunui Davis — Hau 💔, we’ve lost a devoted husband, a loving father, an adored Koro to his mokopuna, a mate, amazing painter and a mentor to many.

Hau was always quick to give me a bit of cheek whenever I dropped a vehicle off for him to paint 😂. That was just Hau — always keen for a yarn

Those of us in the automotive industry we love what we do. It’s about helping our community, taking pride in our work, and doing our very best to get people’s pride and joy back to them looking just like new.

So with the help of Thomas, Tyler, Jack and myself, we finished off Hau’s final job and got it back to the customer — just the way Hau would have wanted it. 💯

Hau, thank you ❤️ for all the amazing paint jobs you did for us here at The Panelshop EBOP, and for all the laughs, banter and memories along the way !!

You can rest now, my bro.
Watch over us all from up there, and keep reminding us to be a perfectionist just like you.

Rest easy Hau. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

After 18 months in the shop & actually loosing count on the hours , this 1958 classic is finally heading home to its owner.

From rust repairs and patching, to countless hours of welding, straightening dents, fixing imperfections, and getting all the panel gaps just right, it's been a real labour of love. So with all the Certification work done & signed off it was smiles all round & the hard yards have been done . Paintshop time!

Projects like this take patience, skill, and plenty of dedication, but seeing another classic brought back to life makes it all worthwhile.

It's always a bittersweet moment watching a project like this leave the workshop. You spend so much time with it that it almost becomes part of the family. Wishing the owner many happy miles and years of enjoyment ahead

With Bernie & the boyz at Ecocast needing a quick turnaround on their trusty old haul truck, which they use 7 days a week, it was all hands on deck!
With the help of Kyle at K2 Auto glass, we had it sorted and back out the door in no time, ready to get back to hauling product again.
Another job done and another truck KEEPING ON TRUCKIN

Another nicely done Lux 💪
This beast came in needing a bit of TLC and is heading back out looking ready to tackle anything in its path!
With a brand-new bullbar & smash pans from the team at AJF 4X4 Rotorua. Then we completely panelled the left-hand side and finished it off with a fresh lick of paint from the boyz at Whittaker Car Painters 👌

This classic one-owner 1989 Toyota Hilux has come into The Panelshop EBOP for a little TLC to help keep it on the road for generations to come.
These old Hiluxs are becoming harder to find, especially one that's had just one owner. We're looking forward to giving it the care and attention it deserves before it heads back home to its proud owner. Enjoy your week while the sun 🌞 is shining & stay safe out there on our Ebay roads

The 1958 is finally back where it belongs with its happy owner after countless hours of repairs & plenty of attention to detail.
Now it's time to roll the next project into the workshop... a 1989 Mazda RX-7. 😁
I've always loved the sound of a rotary. There's just something about that brap brap that puts a smile on your face!
Who knows... it might finally be time to buy one of my own. 🤔

Must be doing something right !! Out here at The Panel Shop EBOP when you start the week with a massive 🌈 rainbow over the shop!
After enjoying a few extra days off following the long weekend for some well-deserved rest, I came down with the flu ( First time this year ) and ended up needing even more time off.
A huge thank you to everyone for your patience with the missed phone calls, messages, and drop-ins while I was out. I really appreciate your understanding.
A massive thanks to Tyler Isley for carrying the workload & me this week while I recovered. The doors are back open & on the mend, and now it's time to get stuck in and catch up on all the jobs waiting ahead of us.
