There are so many different skills in our automotive industry, and Paintless Dent Removal is definitely one of them. 👌
So when Darryl Begg from Dent Magician called in to The Panelshop EBOP to show off some of his years of knowledge and experience, young Tyler Isley was all ears! 👨🔧
It was awesome watching Darryl pass on some of his skills and knowledge to the next generation. Tyler was absolutely blown away by how it was done — and even better, once Darryl had finished, you couldn’t even see where the dent had been! 👌
Those of us who have been in the automotive industry for 30+ years are starting to get to that age where we need to make sure we pass our knowledge and skills on to the younger generation before some of these old-school skills are lost forever.
I remember having a yarn with Jack, Hau & myself at the start of the year and between the 3 of us we had 97 years of automotive experience! Not bad for 3 high school dropouts! 🤣🤣
We’ve still managed to master skills that very few people know these days — but skills that are still very much needed.
Now, with Darryl’s experience added to the mix, that makes 127 years of automotive knowledge and experience between the 4 of us!
WOW… I’m starting to feel old! 😂😂
But if we can pass even a little bit of that knowledge on to the younger generation, then hopefully these skills will keep living on for many years to come.
Keep the skills alive. Keep learning. Keep passing it on
