👏🏼 It costs nothing, to say thank you 🙏🏼

On Saturday, young Jimi Kerr gifted Kim a Martinborough training top, shook his hand, and handed over this awesome letter and drawing.

Jimi will be playing U10s this year and was thanking us for supporting the JAB Rugby - safe to say it made Kim’s day. 🙌🏼

Community is everything in a small town, and gestures like this remind us why we love supporting our local kids and clubs.

Thanks again Jimi — you are a fine young fella, go well this season! 🏉👏💙

Today we said farewell to an absolute legend, our guy Neil Tannant 😭

Due to ill health, Neil has decided it’s high time he closed up the toolbox.

After 38 years as a panel be**er at Ace Panel & Paint here in Martinborough, it’s hard to put into words what this man has meant to our business and our community. If you’ve ever had an accident and brought your vehicle to us - chances are Neil’s fixed it.

For nearly four decades, he has shown up with unwavering dedication, loyalty, and pride in his work. His workmanship has always been second to none — precise, meticulous, and consistently flawless. The kind of craftsmanship that you don’t just learn… you earn through years of experience and genuine care 🛠️

But it hasn’t just been about the work.

He has been a steady presence for his fellow team members, a trusted right-hand man to Kim, and someone that our customers knew. His work ethic set the standard, and his personality made the workshop a better place to be every single day. Not to mention, his effortless diplomacy when it came to change within the workshop - “Get stuffed, I’m doing it the old way.” 😂

His contribution to Ace Panel & Paint and to the wider Martinborough community — simply can’t be measured 🙌🏼

Thank you for 38 years of commitment, skill, loyalty, laughs, and leadership by example. You leave behind very big boots to fill 💔
