Not your average day at the office!

Yesterday, TS Marine technician Dave swapped the workshop for the Cook Strait, joining a Bluebridge sailing to carry out specialist marine work and operational testing in a truly unique environment.

From working onboard the vessel to operational testing in Picton and returning to Wellington, it was a day that showcased the range of support our team can provide when customers need us on-site.

Dave recently joined the TS Marine team, with years of recreational and commercial marine experience he was right at home tackling a job that's a little outside the ordinary.

Another incredible transformation completed by the TS Marine team

This Buccaneer arrived at our workshop with a heavily faded and oxidised gelcoat that had lost its depth and shine after years of exposure. Following a comprehensive Stage 3 detail, including wet sanding, multi-stage machine cutting, polishing and paint protection, we’ve restored the finish to a deep, high-gloss shine that looks as close to new as possible.

But the transformation didn’t stop there.

Along with restoring the hull, we also completed a full service on the Yamaha outboard, ensuring the boat is mechanically ready to perform just as well as it now looks.

To finish the package, we sourced and fitted a brand new DMW tandem trailer, and we couldn’t be happier with how it complements the boat. It’s a perfect combination of style, strength and reliability.

Another one wrapped up for Back on Track

TS Marine recently carried out a full haul out coordination and maintenance package on this vessel including:

• Vessel relocation from berth to travel lift
• Full antifoul application
• Full Propspeed application
• Engine and driveline servicing with genuine Yanmar parts through our partner Power Equipment Ltd NZ
• Tender Outboard Engine Service with Mercury Marine New Zealand
• Inspection and maintenance works while hauled including Anode replacement
• Return delivery back to the berth on completion

By handling the entire process from start to finish, the owner was able to leave the logistics, haul out coordination and servicing completely in our hands.

Great to see Back on Track back in the water looking sharp and ready for the next adventure.
