We collect, preserve and support the classic car community through events, sponsorships, and entertainment. Waimak Classic Cars was established in Canterbury, New Zealand with the aim to preserve classic and vintage vehicles. Our key interest is to ensure that these are sold to good homes for a respectable value. We believe classic cars should be considered an alternative investment to stocks and property – tangible assets you can see, admire and enjoy – assets you have control over.

A NICE DISPLAY of steam powered engines, machinery and trucks at the Rangiora Show Grounds in North Canterbury yesterday. The weather was lovely, the show was well organised, attendance was great. Lovely country atmosphere for families that only New Zealand can offer. A big thank you to the organizers, to the Waimakariri Local Council and to those responsible for the show grounds. Also to the stall holders, sponsors and all participants.

HERE'S ANOTHER BARGAIN...$35,000 FOR A BENTLEY TURBO R 🇬🇧...What are you lot waiting for?...Oh, hang on… someone’s just spent that on a brand-new Jaecoo or some other Chinese appliance with a badge nobody can pronounce. Or perhaps twice that on a Tesla that needs a software update to open the glovebox! Meanwhile, here’s a proper Bentley. Turbocharged V8, acres of leather, polished timber and more road presence than just about anything on sale today.
