This has been a long time coming.........
Brand new re-produced GSX-R 750 TQ Midget wiring harnesses.
Mil-Spec Motorsport cable and brand new connector plugs, all the wires you need, nothing you don't. Super tidy and reliable....!!

This prototype is in a car and running with no faults, off to Dyno next week to validate all operations.
Can't wait to share a totally finished product complete with Raychem Sleeving for the factory finish look.

We will have 20 in stock ready to clip into your TQ by the end of May, with a few already spoken for, get in touch now to secure yours.
If there is enough interest we will do another run which will take approx another month for supplies to arrive.

The smile says it all.......

We didn't have the best run at the NZ Title last weekend, but racing our way out of the B Main into the big show, getting a qualifiers trophy and joining the 24 other fast racers walking out onto the track for the pre race "ceremony" was pretty special.......
We crossed the line 19th after a great race long battle for 17th, although getting bumped into a spin with a few laps to go was a disappointing way to end the night.
This class is seriously competitive and fast, and when you are just the smallest margin off the pace it really shows up!

It didn't dampen our spirits, it's hard not to smile getting out on the track and doing what we love with some cool people. Thanks to Wayne Carpendale Tony Land Angela Land and Michael Brough for the support on Saturday night. Also Kaleb Currie for the few words of advice too.

Looking forward to the NZ GP in Kihikihi on the 28th Feb, can't wait!

Great on track photos thanks Alana Warrington

There may be some questions asked how the New Zealand title is going to work this weekend? Well this is how:

Based on the numbers entered, there will be 3 groups of 5 cars & 3 groups with 6 cars, totalling the entry count of 33.

In every race, drivers will race with their own group and one other group, meaning there will be anywhere between 10 to 12 cars in one single heat race. The alternative group will change each race, meaning drivers will race approximately 22 of the 32 other entered cars.

In a standard two night event, each driver would race everyone but due to the change to one night, this is the other alternative used at previous season’s NZ midget titles.

After each driver has completed their 3 x 12 lap qualifying heats, the top 1️⃣8️⃣ will make it directly to the feature. The remaining 1️⃣5️⃣ cars will go to a 12 lap last chance B main with the top 6 transferring to the feature event.

The feature is 2️⃣4️⃣ cars over 2️⃣5️⃣ laps, with the top three becoming 1NZ, 2NZ & 3NZ.

Who is everyones pick for 1NZ , 2NZ & 3NZ? And who is your ‘dark horse’ pick 🤔

Looking forward to another productive night here at Huntly Speedway and unlocking further speed in the 9K, and more so the driver.
Good field of fast TQs again tonight all racing for Auckland TQs - ATQMA points.

Quick report from last night at Huntly Speedway,

Heat 1 we went 12 ➡️ 12, we were off with set up and struggled with pace, but tried a few things and learnt...

Heat 2, 1 ➡️ 6. Car was much better, dropped a couple of spots with little driver errors, but unlocked more speed and confidence in the car.

Feature time, we started 9th, car was super strong and we had great pace early in the 20 lap race, and were starting to find a real groove. Mid-race we clipped a spinning car and launched skyward, luckily landing down on all 4 wheels, but bending the front axle which ended our run, we circulated to finish, but well off the pace....

Although it was a disappointing end, it was a huge step forward for us, we are finding our way with all the changes we have made to the car.

Back into the workshop this week with a complete tear down and rebuild, with eyes forward to our next event, the NZ TQ title at Waikaraka Park in 2 weeks time.
