🏔️ Project Completed – Fiordland Lodge, Te Anau!

We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of Phase 2 of our dry ice blasting works at Fiordland Lodge, Te Anau.

Our team carried out additional dry ice blasting to clean exposed timber surfaces, remove surface contaminants and improve the overall appearance of the timber while helping to reduce residual smoke odour.

Using our specialist dry ice blasting equipment, we completed the additional works efficiently, with no water, chemicals or secondary blasting media.

A big thank you to the Naylor Love team for the opportunity to be part of this restoration project and for their support throughout the works.

Agricultural Innovation: Precision Cleaning for Prebble Turf! 🌾❄️

Maintaining high-performance machinery in the agricultural sector requires specialized cleaning methods that respect strict operational constraints.

Our team recently performed mobile dry ice blasting on a critical seed coating dryer for the local legends at Prebble Turf (Prebble Seeds Ltd) right here in Christchurch.

Over time, seed treatment chemicals, fertilizers, and binding polymers form a rock-hard crust inside dryer drums and blending equipment. Hand scraping is slow and damages surfaces, while water washdowns risk leaving trapped moisture that can trigger premature seed germination or mold outbreaks in the next batch of raw seeds.

Our dry ice blasting technology delivered the perfect solution:
🚫 100% Water-Free: No moisture or liquid chemicals were introduced, entirely avoiding seed spoilage risks.
🛡️ Zero Surface Abrasion: Cleared the baked-on crust safely without scratching the dryer's interior lining or delicate mechanical paddles.
⏱️ Instant Sublimation: The machine was left dry, sanitary, and ready to go back online immediately!

We love helping local Canterbury agricultural leaders keep their production running smoothly and safely.

Industrial Restoration: Keeping Critical Infrastructure Clean 🏥⚙️🔥

Throwing it back to a specialized project our mobile team completed at Christchurch's Burwood Hospital, tackling heavy carbon and soot buildup inside their facility's boiler chute.

Industrial boilers and exhaust systems face intense, baked-on soot over time. Traditional cleaning methods often fall short, risk damaging the underlying metal, or create a massive mess with secondary water waste.

Our mobile dry ice blasting solution was the perfect answer:
✔️ 100% Non-Abrasive: Cleaned the chute thoroughly without scratching or wearing down the steel infrastructure.
✔️ Zero Secondary Waste: The CO2 pellets v***rized instantly on impact, leaving only the dislodged soot to be easily vacuumed up.
✔️ Minimized Downtime: Fast, efficient, and completely dry ex*****on kept facility disruption to an absolute minimum.

Whether it’s critical hospital infrastructure, food manufacturing lines, or heavy industrial machinery, we bring precision cleaning directly to your site across the South Island.

Dairy Sector Maintenance: Precision Cleaning for Fonterra! 🥛❄️

In a high-standard industry like dairy processing, equipment cleanliness isn't just about appearance—it is a matter of strict food safety, compliance, and maintaining production efficiency.

Here is a flashback to a specialized project our team completed for a Fonterra facility, delivering a deep clean to a critical mesh disc filter screen.

Fine industrial filters and separators constantly battle stubborn protein, milk fat, and residue buildup. Cleaning them by hand or using high-pressure water risks tearing or stretching the delicate wire mesh.

Dry ice blasting remains the gold standard for top-tier dairy plants:
🚫 Zero Water: Eliminates moisture-loving bacteria risks (like Listeria) in production lines.
🛡️ Non-Abrasive: Safely lifts caked-on dairy solids without altering micro-mesh tolerances or bending the wires.
⏱️ Zero Secondary Waste: The CO2 pellets turn directly into gas, leaving nothing behind but the detached debris.

By skipping chemical rinses and drying cycles, we get critical components back into operation in a fraction of the time!

📍 Operating mobile across Canterbury and the South Island to keep your processing lines running at peak performance.

Precision Quality Control for KiwiRail! 🚄🔬💨

Our mobile Canterbury team recently wrapped up a specialized project cleaning deep inside the structural 100x100 box sections of 4 brand-new, state-of-the-art Stadler locomotives for KiwiRail.

Working inside enclosed steel frames is an engineering challenge. Traditional water blasting would introduce moisture and trigger future rust, while sandblasting would leave trapped abrasive grit behind, ruining internal tolerances.

Dry ice blasting was the ultimate solution! As you can see in our raw video, the intense kinetic energy of our -79°C CO2 pellets flushes out early surface oxidation, forcing the v***r and smoke clear out of the tiny vent holes.

Because you can't see into these tight steel spaces with the naked eye, the engineering teams verified our work using specialized borescope inspection cameras. The results? 100% dry, grit-free, and camera-verified clean—perfectly prepped for immediate protective coating.

If our mobile units are trusted to meet the highest safety and inspection standards for critical rail infrastructure, we can safely handle your local workshop or factory bottlenecks!

📍 Serving Christchurch, Canterbury, and the wider South Island.
