What an incredible night at the Riverside, Harvest Church site for our Ohmio demonstration.

His extensive international experience has provided him with a unique global perspective and deep expertise in navigating diverse markets, developing cross-border partnerships, and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

In his role at Ohmio & HMI, Hanney will be responsible for driving business growth, strengthening strategic relationships, and supporting the adoption of intelligent transport, smart infrastructure, and autonomous mobility solutions. Ohmio was delighted to co-host the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Forum 2025 with the University of California, Riverside (UCR) on October 29.
A fantastic event bringing together global leaders in smart mobility and transport innovation.
The forum was opened by Dr. Matthew Barth from University of California, Riverside and Ohmio CEO Dean Zabrieszach, followed by an inspiring keynote from Dr. Steven Shladover, Research Engineer at University of California, Berkeley.

Engaging panel sessions featured international experts, including Robert Sykora from Ohmio Europe, sharing insights on innovation and deployment across the transport ecosystems.

The culmination of the days proceedings saw City of Riverside Assistant City Manager, Rafael Guzman, giving a comprehensive report on the transport and sustainability initiatives being undertaken in the City of Riverside.

A big thank you to all the participants and organisers for making the event such a success - collaboration like this drives the future of mobility forward.

It was a pleasure to attend the USNZ Business Council Welcome Reception hosted by the NZ Consul-General to Los Angeles Katja Elizabeth Ackerley & partner Ken Moynihan on Monday 27 October. Ohmio was represented by founder Mohammed Hikmet & Taghreed Hikmet together with CEO Dean Zabrieszach & Jacky Zabrieszach .
The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with business leaders committed to strengthening ties between the United States and New Zealand, fostering collaboration, innovation and sustainable growth across both markets.
