Reviving a ceramic coated Toyota Sienta.

Descaling is a process in detailing where an acidic shampoo dissolves mineral deposits (such as water spots) on top of a car’s paint. These can layer on top of the paint, which can impede the coating’s effectiveness and therefore the coating seems to not work or disappears.

The acidic shampoo dissolves the mineral layer to get the coating’s effectiveness back. You can descale with a car that doesn’t have a coating as well.
