It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Rikard Gustafsson this past weekend.
For many years, we were proud to sponsor Rikard and his team. Today, we share this memorial decal and message to honor one of the greatest drag racers our sport has ever known. Rikard earned the respect of everyone around him through his courage, professionalism, dedication, and exceptional craftsmanship. He was a true competitor and an inspiration both on and off the track.
To us, Rikard was more than a racer we sponsored. To several members of the Zodiac team, he was also a valued friend. The drag racing community is a close-knit family, which makes this loss all the more painful.
We are shocked and heartbroken by this news, but also grateful and proud to have known a man like Rikard. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family, his team, his friends, and the entire drag racing community as we mourn the loss of a remarkable person.
Thank you, Rikard, for the memories, the inspiration, and everything you gave to our sport.
