🚨 KNOW WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOUR CAR BEFORE BUYING THE PART!
One thing I hear a lot is:
«“This one worked for my friend.”
“Someone I know used it for his car and it was perfect.”
“Same car, same problem, so I should use the same part too.”»
Not always. 😂
I’ve seen people use the same car model and even the same part, yet one person complains terribly about the product while another person sings its praises.
Take shock absorbers for example.
An Uber driver might buy a particular shock absorber and get only a few months out of it, while a private car owner using that same product gets a year or more.
Does that automatically mean the product is bad?
No.
The usage, road conditions, load, driving pattern and purpose of the vehicle all matter.
A car used heavily for Uber is simply not experiencing the same conditions as a private car that is driven occasionally.
And that's why you shouldn't buy a car part just because it worked for someone else.
🚗 Cars can show the same symptoms but have completely different causes — and therefore completely different solutions.
The best thing to do is:
1️⃣ Know what is actually wrong with your car.
2️⃣ Understand what your car is being used for.
3️⃣ Then choose the part that actually suits the problem and application.
I recently had a conversation with a referred customer that reminded me of this.
His friend had bought an O2 spacer because his check-engine light was on.
This customer's check-engine light was also on, so naturally, the thought was:
“Since we have the same dashboard light, maybe I need the same thing.” 😂
But guess what?
Same warning light. Different problem.
That's why before I sell anything to you, I try to understand what is actually happening with your car — unless you're a mechanic and already know exactly what you need.
