As we received the first truck of gas into out Storage tank, we hereby officially commissioned our Cooking Gas Refilling Plant at ADEKUNLE BUS STOP OWODE ELEDE OFF MILE 12 ALONG IKORODU ROAD LAGOS today the 2nd day October 2020 to the glory of God.

Your patronage is highly solicited as we are ready to refill your cylinders with accurate quantity paid for at a subsidized price as compared to competition.

: Don't switch on lights or have mobile devices on if you smell gas.

Sources of leakage in the kitchen could be as a result of the state of the valve on an old cylinder. Without proper refurbishment of cylinders and maintenance of installation in kitchen, hoses, valves and even cookers could develop leakages.

Check your LPG equipment. Invite a technician to inspect.

LPG can be detected by a typically unpleasant odour of gas.

Get an LPG leak detector for your kitchen to warn of any leakage; gas leak may be difficult to notice.

LPG will cause natural rubber and some plastics to deteriorate. Only use hoses and other equipment specifically designed for LPG. ( Make sure you buy LPG accessories from known/approved dealers)

LPG is flammable like all petroleum fuels. It must be stored away from sources of ignition and in a well-ventilated area

LPG vapour is heavier than air. Any leakage will sink to the ground and accumulate in low lying areas

LPG expands rapidly when the temperature rises. So whenever a container is filled, sufficient space is left for expansion

Although LPG is non-toxic, it is an asphyxiant and its abuse is highly dangerous. Treat LPG with respect

Safety is of paramount concern to all involved in the LPG business, from producers through the supply, storage, handling and distribution chain, through to the consumer.

HOW TO CHECK EXPIRY DATE FOR LPG CYLINDERS

Did you know that there is an expiry date (physical life) for LPG cylinders? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and can cause lethal accidents.

Here is how you can check the expiry date of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically which starts with A, B, C or D followed by a two digit number. e.g. D06.

The alphabets stand for quarters -

A for March (First Qtr),
B for June (Second Qtr),
C for Sept (Third Qtr),
D for December (Fourth Qtr).
The digits stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D-06 would mean December quarter of 2006.
