TIPS FOR VECHICLE PURCHASE

When you are buying a vehicle take som this tips into cogisance because private sellers are not bound to the same strict oversight as dealerships, you, to protect yourself, must adopt a scrupulous mindset when inspecting a used car of interest. To help you discern if the vehicle is worthy of buying, bring the following items with you for inspecting the vehicle:
A notebook and pen for taking notes and recording the vehicle identification number, mileage and asking price
Paper towels for checking the engine oil
A small flashlight for looking under the car for leaks and corrosion
A small magnet for detecting concealed body work
A CD for testing the car stereo
Inspection checklist (detailed below)
If possible, an auto history report

TIPS ON BUYING USED CARS.
1. Know your pocket (it helps you stay focused).
2. Research your vehicle(s) of interest (weak points, parts, repairs, and e.t.c).
3. Check the forums (you can get a lot of feedback from guys posting about the car that might know more than you).
4. Don't buy on impulse (It clouds your judgement).
5. Use your own 'TRUSTED' mechanic.
6. Inspect the owner; not just the car (can they be trusted, does the car have some other story behind it?).
7. Be willing to walk away (prepare ahead of time; don't let your emotions get you in over your head).
