So, 2 nights ago the news of bandits attack on a Kaduna bound Abuja train broke out - Rotimi Amaechi and his security guys were on board - they avoided that dreaded Kaduna Abuja expressway to jump on the train with other train passengers that evening.
When they got to Rigasa train station in Kaduna and all passengers disembarked, Amaechi and his securitymen were making their way out of the station, bandits gunshots rented the air and everyone scampered for safety. Amaechi was smuggled out of Rigasa via another route into town and it was reported that one of his aides died and others injured - in what is now classified as a kidnap attempt on the minister - but, Amaechi denied he was attacked or existence of any attack that night
Aisha Yesufu and many other travellers that night confirmed the attack but said it was after Amaechi's convoy left the station which made him (Amaechi) to detour and took different route to safety.
Well, Amaechi said he went straight to bed when he got to Kaduna and only heard about the alleged attack after 12 midnight when his wife called to ask about his wellbeing. Meanwhile, same Amaechi replied Aisha Yesufu on twitter around 10pm, few hours after the attack that it was not true. He repeatedly denied any attack happened along the corridor or at the state. Meanwhile, its true.
This morning, Amaechi's CSO, Chief Security Officer is reported dead in Kaduna - he died of electric shock in his hotel toilet - Same hotel Amaechi slept for hours after the Rigasa escape. Think about it 🤔
They are denying the existence of the insecurity in Nigeria, claiming the stories are exaggerated. They are doing optics and photo ops to make ordinary people affected by the insecurity daily look like liars, yet they are scared cowards who are also endangered.
When would they speak truth and fix the problem?
Until they kill one or all of them?
