Kindness pays.

When you put out good, good will come back in some way shape or form. It may not be immediate, but your acts never go unnoticed and will find their way to you. It's never for nothing or wasted efforts.

Many of you here who may think sharing this page or my write up is a wasted efforts, I want to remind you that no act of kindness is ever a waste of time. You don't know how many lives you are touching in your own way by sharing. One thing is sure the word of God says as long as heaven and Earth remains seed time and harvest will never cease.

Don't get discouraged when you are doing good because God is the one who rewards every good deed. Never do anything out of eye service. Men may give you accolades but God's blessings are eternal. This is why anytime I find opportunity to do good I do it because I know I am sowing seeds that my generation will come and enjoy even years after I am gone.

Continue to live and love well from the heart, and always feel blessed and grateful for all that is given back in return.

Life is all about timing

Popcorns are normally fried in the same pot, in the same oil, at the same TIME and under the same heat conditions. But they do not all pop at the same TIME.

When flood comes, fishes eats ants and when flood recedes, ants eats fishes.

For making soap, oil is required. But to clean oil, soap is required. This is the irony of life.

Everybody needs somebody at one point in their life time. Do not despise or treat anyone with scorn when they are excelling or failing than you.

There is TIME for EVERYTHING and for EVERYONE. Keep trusting and waiting on GOD. Your TIME to POP will soon come. God willing. Only TIME matters.

HAS THE GOVERNMENT REALLY PASSED ITS OWN EXAMS?????

Ray Of Hope Empowerment Foundation in partnership with Latiwa Development Foundation commemorated the 2018 Menstural hygiene day at Government Secondary School, Kwangila, Zaria, Kaduna State. The event which was to start off by 2:00PM couldn't because there were no chairs. What was however shocking was the fact that all the students were made to seat on the FLOOR...bare FLOOR.

Over the years, ROHEF has carried out various outreaches with special consideration on rural areas. Trust me when we say we have seen the good, the bad and the ugly in all of these outreaches as each one comes with its own peculiar challenges.
Why this has become very worrisome to us is because GSS kwangila is actually not in a rural area but in the heart of Zaria town. We find it hard to believe that we would find students still sitting on the FLOOR in 2018!

Recently, Governor El Rufai relieved thousands of teachers of their various jobs. He had various reasons but one which we remember most is that the teachers couldn't pass their exams. It then brings us to the question, has the GOVERNMENT actually passed its own exams? Is it okay for GOVERNMENT to play the blame game even when they themselves are equally guilty? Now, this is not to make excuses for the teachers who couldn't back up their certificates by passing simple examinations set for them but one can not help but notice how jaundiced our society has become.

I mean, this is a pure case of treating a patient without proper diagnosis. Who issued certificates to these teachers? Who certified the institutions or bodies that authorised the said certificates? Who even employed them? I guess the teachers are also responsible for the students sitting on the bare floor to learn and their heads struggling for where to sit as well. It was even a big deal to get seats for I and my team....how PATHETIC!

Yes we went to commemorate the menstrual hygiene day and to distribute pads to students but suffice it to say, I am highly displeased at KADUNA STATE Government to say the least. As an NGO, it's our duty to assist the people and Government in the ways we can. I hereby call on the GOVERNMENT of Kaduna State and all the relevant authorities to look into this matter and do the right thing by creating an enabling environment for the students and staff of Gss kwangila. Learning isn't just 1+1=2 , there has to be a conducive atmosphere to enable it sink in!

It is our pleasure to introduce Ray Of Hope Empowerment Foundation (ROHEF) to the general public.

Our organization provides intervention services to vulnerable women, youth and children in Nigeria.

We are a non-governmental and non-profit organization, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, (RC 65917) and operating as a human development-based charity organization in Abuja, Nigeria.

Established in December, 2013. Our main purpose is to improve the living standard of children, youth and women, as well be socially responsible for addressing health, economic and social challenges and rights that affect the less privileged and vulnerable women, children and youth in the society.

In the morning the sun rises, clearing the blanket of darkness and bringing the light of new HOPE amongst the people. The birds dance and sing a NEW SONG of FREEDOM in the sky. The river beside my house flows, making a loud sound and ENCOURAGING men and women to get ready to go into the field.
One day, I was sitting at the corner of my house enjoying the beauty and thinking deeply about life. Suddenly, I heard a voice saying, “What will you do now?” I looked around, but again the voice came, “How will you fulfill your innocent DREAMS?” I shouted, saying, “Who are you?” then i realized the voice was coming from my HEART. I felt like a bird kept in a cage because I could not follow my mind and I had to obey my HEART. HOPE is that tiny little voice that tells you to hold on until your DREAMS come TRUE.

Hopelessness is a common description of broken people. They have no where to turn, nothing they can do to change the it is livable. The theme of light shining in darkness is the most powerful message to give to such hopeless people. No matter how black the darkness and difficult it seems to shrug it off, one needs only think of how turning on a light can bring a whole change to the dismal situation. We of course are the light that ought to shine in the lives of those going through pains.
