Chapter One
Introduction
On the 2nd of April 2008, I was actually climbing the staircase to the third floor of the upstairs and at the entrance I was opportune to sit with President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, the president of the most populated black country on the earth surface, I and the president had some conversation, it was all in a dream, and then I woke up.
The late President was my ever loved president in my entire life, he was very humble, started as a teacher, and from a very rich family but was still humble, he once admitted by saying, the election that brought him into power was not free nor a fair election, but promised to make great reforms in the electoral system, which he began doing before his death.
You see, I am a Christian and this man is a Muslim, but sincerely I loved him, in comparison to any Christian President we ever had in Nigeria, so I am not writing on sentimental level, rather it’s my own opinion, if we ever had a great leader in the post independent era then is this man, does not talk so much, but very courageous and could not be manipulated, no wonder most politicians never liked him.
In the pre-independent we had great leaders, such as:
★ Abubakar Tafawa Balewa
★ Ahmadu Bello
★ Dr Nnmadi Azikiwe, to mentioned but a few
Those were leaders who fought for the emancipation of our Nation Nigeria from our colonial masters, these set of leaders, gave all for a better Nigeria, with passion and love, each of them united not minding their tribe nor region, united and were able to get this freedom from the colonial masters, and birthed the country called Nigeria.
After their dispensation other leaders took the stage, and one of them with great vision and plans was the president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, he even named it vision 20/20, with a seven point agenda, but you see, somehow in reality, some good people don’t last, oh death why do this to us, oh death why always take our brilliant and visionary people from us, leaving us with the irrational, with his brilliant ideas, he actually ended the tensions in southern part of Nigeria by the militants, I am sure, if he was alive today, the wicked set of religious killers all over the northern part of Nigeria, will never have existed, and even if it happened, it should have been stopped, we cannot forget him in a hurry, because he was a man of great ideas and genuine passion for a workable Nigeria, other leaders we had in this democratic era, will never be compared to him.
Nigeria is a blessed nation on earth, it has everything to make it beautiful amongst others here on this cosmos, but it has been plagued with wicked leadership, leaders who are inhuman in thinking, leaders who have no future in heart, nor in mind, so all their thinking, is just to steal and improvised the blessed entity called Nigeria, so do you think I will love such wicked characters? Certainly no, I love Nigeria, and its habitat, but with passion hate these set of wicked leaders, who only project evil on her citizens, these leaders, have a common slogans such as, I, ME and only ME, while the founding fathers slogans was WE, US and ALL, if you should diagnose their brain with an x-ray, all you see, its embezzlement, seriously nothing else but just that, in every one of them, except very few, these set of leaders use our young boys to kill for them, destroying other peoples family but theirs are in overseas, having a good time, and after employing these boys giving them guns to kill, in a long run these boys are denied by these wicked persons who decided to join politics just for their pocket, and not for nationhood, our late president was not like these set of politicians, I cannot call them leaders, because, there are not leaders of good reputations, each of them have some sort of bad pedigree, you want to know why I love Nigeria with is habitat and passionately hates its leadership, then let’s check this book in your hand, or on your screen chapter to chapters.
