The Original Liquid Tube (Part No. 80341-T6A-003) for the 2014 Honda Odyssey RC1 is a critical high-pressure component in the vehicle's air conditioning (A/C) system. Its primary role is to transport high-pressure liquid refrigerant from the condenser to the evaporator (cooling coil).
Key Roles and Functions
Refrigerant Delivery: It acts as the conduit for liquid refrigerant after it has been cooled and condensed by the condenser located at the front of the vehicle.
System Separation: As a "liquid line," it represents the "high-pressure side" of the A/C circuit. It maintains the pressure required for the refrigerant to remain in liquid form until it reaches the expansion device.
Receiver/Drier Connection: In many Honda configurations, this pipe (often called a Receiver Pipe) connects to or incorporates the receiver-drier assembly, which filters out debris and removes moisture from the refrigerant to protect the compressor.
Structural Integrity: Being an "Original" (OEM) part, it is designed to withstand the high operating pressures of R134a or R1234yf refrigerant systems without leaking, ensuring the A/C maintains its cooling efficiency.

Symptoms of a Failing Liquid Tube
If this tube is damaged or clogged, you may notice:
Reduced Cooling: A blockage in the tube (often near the receiver area) will prevent enough refrigerant from reaching the evaporator, resulting in warm air.
Visible Leaks: Oily residue or green dye (if a leak-detecting agent was used) around the tube fittings indicates a seal failure.
Pressure Spikes: A severe clog can cause the A/C compressor to cycle off frequently or trigger the pressure relief valve.
