11th Gen Honda Civic FE differences between Singapore and Malaysia — both use the same 1.5L turbocharged L15 engine family, but Singapore gets a heavily detuned version mainly because of their COE taxation structure and power-category regulations.

Malaysia officially rates the FE 1.5 Turbo at 182 PS and 240 Nm.

Singapore’s version is reduced to 129 PS and 180 Nm specifically to qualify for the cheaper Category A COE.

11th Gen Honda Civic FL1 came in for dyno tuning after upgrading to a custom exhaust system paired with KTuner, LLC V2 Touch.

Unfortunately, the stock clutch waved the white flag during the session 😅

These are the temporary numbers for now…she’ll be back stronger after the clutch upgrade.

Everyone’s been asking what’s really inside the L15B/C series engines… so we’re breaking it down 🔥

Here’s a closer look at the stock internals of the Honda Civic FC vs FE, side-by-side with our R&D pistons — built with performance, durability, and real-world abuse in mind.

One key difference? The FE connecting rods are slightly larger, stronger, and built with improved materials compared to the FC — giving the newer platform a better foundation for handling increased load and power.

On top of that, FC vs FE engines also differ in compression ratio, affecting efficiency, response, and overall tuning headroom.

Beyond compression, the FE pistons feature a wider skirt design and improved cooling channels, enhancing stability under load and better heat management — critical for sustained performance and reliability.
