Weststar Maxus Distributors Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Weststar LDV Distributors Sdn Bhd) is the sole distributor for the Weststar Maxus van and also handles the sales & marketing and after sales services for the Malaysian market. Even though we’re part of SAIC, only the biggest auto manufacturer in China – we’re a relatively young brand here in Malaysia. But that’s ok. We’re more than ready to prove ourselves. But first, we’re going to get you across who we are and what we do best. And that is making damn fine cars that are easy on your bank account. The SAIC group? Not only are we a Fortune Global 500 company - we’re actually the 46th biggest company in the world - we’ve also been around since the 1940s. LDV - MAXUS became part of the SAIC group back in 2010 when we acquired the commercial division of the British Motor Corporation, and LDV can be traced way back to the 1890s. That’s a lot of vehicles we’ve made, sold, and seen drive out the door. Basically – it’s safe to say we know our stuff when it comes to cars. But just to be overachievers, we also manufactured over 7 million vehicles just last year. Oh, and in 2019 came 8th on Forbes magazine’s list of the largest auto companies in the world. We’ve also made products that have been sold under some of the most recognisable car names in the world – think MG, Buick, Chevrolet, Iveco, Skoda, Volkswagen and Audi, via our joint ventures with General Motors and Volkswagen. It’s pretty safe to say we know what we’re talking about when it comes to cars. And here’s the really good bit. Our prices – you’ll love them. Our vehicles are really competitively priced compared to other brands, and that’s exactly how we like it. Plus, we’re always innovating, so you know you’re getting a great product.
