PROTON telah menyambut hari ulangtahun yang ke-40 di satu upacara gemilang, pada 7 Mei 2023, yang telah dihadiri oleh YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim, Perdana Menteri Malaysia. Pada masa yang sama beliau telah melancarkan model SUV ketiga syarikat yang juga merupakan model Kenderaan Tenaga Baharu (NEV) pertama jenama.
