KIA Motors Malawi We are KIA Motors in Malawi HTD Limited originally formed in Malawi in 1990 as Halls Truck Division. This was a subsidiary of Lonrho Group of companies.

In 1993 HTD Limited was incorporated as a local limited liability company for sale and service of trucks of make Bedford, Samag and Hino, as well as becoming the parent company for its already established company, Ace Agencies. In 1996 it acquired the franchise for IVECO and in 1997 for KIA. With the acquisition of these franchises it ceased to market the other brands.
