THIS WEEK'S : Elisa Wiah ‘11
Congratulations to Elisa Wiah ’11 on the launch of her mentoring and community outreach program Girls Like Me, Inc! Originally an interactive online magazine for young women founded in 2007, Girls Like Me morphed into a mentoring and community outreach program. In 2012, Girls Like Me, Inc. was re-launched with the purpose of developing future female mentors to serve in their communities and abroad. Since the re-launch, the organization has served the community through a Back Pack School Supply Drive, Christmas Doll Drive and College Prep Enrichment Course Seminars.
Elisa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Shaw and by day works as a Financial Analyst at the Abramson Cancer Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to being the Founder and CEO of Girls Like Me, Inc., Elisa is also a fashion and lifestyle blogger and budding stylist and costume designer.
