General Notice – Japanese Yen Exchange Rate Update (02/12)
The Japanese Yen has increased again.
🔹 LC Reservation Rate (Today 02/12): 2.055
🔹 Average LC Settlement Rate: 2.034 (may vary from bank to bank)
🔹 Customs Rate (This Week): 1.9975
Considering both Customs tax calculations and LC settlement rates, the total vehicle cost is approximately increasing by 1.37%.
This increase can have a significant impact, especially for vehicles with higher CIF values (1500cc and above).
It is expected that Customs rates, bank rates, and TT rates may continue to rise next week.
If you are planning to import a vehicle, please carefully consider the current exchange situation.
Local market vehicle prices are also likely to increase accordingly.
