Bassoul Heneine sal, the official importer of Renault, Dacia, BMW, MINI, and Rolls Royce brand vehicles in Lebanon, announced its partnership at the start of 2016 with Jouzour Loubnan. A partnership established with the aim of contributing to the reforestation of Lebanon’s forests.


It is undeniable that the automotive industry has an impact on the environment, and despite the efforts undertaken by vehicle manufacturers the sector remains one with a high pollution rate.


Due to this, Bassoul Heneine sal is implementing even greater measures geared towards the protection and promotion of the environment through their partnership with Jouzour Loubnan. The Lebanese company has committed to planting a tree for every car or motorbike sold from the BMW, MINI, Renault, Dacia, Rolls Royce, and BMW Motorrade ranges. This initiative, which Bassoul Heneine is undertaking to the benefit of Lebanon’s future, is not the first of its kind. The company has long promoted recycling internally within its divisions, and continues to increase its efforts aimed at promoting and ensuring road safety.


With Jouzour Loubnan, whose aim is to contribute to the restoration of forested areas in Lebanon and the promotion of sustainable reforestation practices in arid regions, Bassoul Heneine sal is building a long-term relationship with an active, responsible, and fully engaged partner.


It is important to note that Jouzour Loubnan has already planted 200,000 trees in Ouyoun El Siman, in the south of Lebanon, at Akoura, Tarchich, Damour, and in Ehden el Ebl el Saki. Ninety percent of the trees planted have survived to date, thanks to concerted maintenance, irrigation, and protection efforts made by the organization’s teams.
