"THE 4:00 AM PROMISE"
A few months ago, I got a call at 9:00 PM on a Friday. It was a gentleman named Otieno. He was frantic. He had booked a car with someone else for a dowry negotiation (ruracio) in upcountry the next morning, but the guy had just switched off his phone.
