We were very happy to be invited by the Singaporean ambassador again this year for the 61st National Day celebration. Distinguished guests included Princess Nobuko of Mikasa, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Kunimitsu Ayano and Mr. Kono Taro.
The embassy brings in the bartender from the Raffles Hotel Long Bar, the home of the Singapore Sling to prepare cocktails for the guests. The full buffet of Singapore delicacies was world class. Japan has had a very strong diplomatic bond with Singapore over the past 60 years. FSS works very closely with the Singapore embassy providing professional and caring service when families are in need. #海外搬送

Just entering service at the beginning of August, our newest addition to our fleet has been constantly on the road doing a transfer from Yamaguchi in the far south of Japan and then to Kyoto today. On Monday she heads to Osaka. Our drivers love taking in the beauty of our country while caring for the families we serve. #海外搬送

Very productive trip to Singapore last week meeting with our international partners. Many meetings each day followed by events every evening. We have not only strengthened our repatriation partnerships but we are expanding our Genelyn embalming chemical market throughout the region.

Earlier this month we were invited to the Italy National Day Reception at their embassy in Tokyo. Fantastic food, drinks and fireworks. It was a pleasure welcoming the new Italian ambassador, Mario Vattani, to Tokyo.

On Friday, Funeral Support Services was a proud hole sponsor at the annual CCCJ Cup. At our hole we had a bbq and drinks while the golfers tried our hockey glove challenge. The golfer with the farthest drive wearing hockey gloves won dinner at in Daikanyama. We also collected donations for . TELL provides mental health support for the foreign community in Japan. This charity is very close to our hearts. It was a beautiful day spent with all of our friends affiliated with the .

A good part of our job is traveling around beautiful Japan taking care of the families we serve. Japan has some really beautiful scenery. Earlier this week we traveled to Kanazawa to do the death registration at the local city office and took a loved one into our care. The family was very pleased that they could make the arrangements in their native language.
