Spent a couple of weeks in Japan, what a way to bring the year to an end! Not much in the way of automotive-related, but managed to do a little car spotting. Mostly with my eyes though, they usually went by too fast to pull my phone and snap anything. Also, decided after bringing my camera along, it was easier to just leave it in the hotel than drag it around all day and night. 🤣

Spent a couple of weeks in Japan, what a way to bring the year to an end! Not much in the way of automotive-related, but managed to do a little car spotting. Mostly with my eyes though, they usually went by too fast to pull my phone and snap anything. Also, decided after bringing my camera along, it was easier to just leave it in the hotel than drag it around all day and night. 🤣

Anyway, the first night there took a few shots on the way to the hotel, took a shot from the hotel room (36 floors up...😤) and had an amazing view of the city. Lights as far as the eye could see! Only a couple of minutes out the door of the hotel and stopped this Maybach van! 😲 First time ever seeing one.

Just a few quick phone snaps from yesterday out Shift-S3ctor . Didn't shoot much while I was there and just enjoyed spectating and talking cars with folks.

Spotted Rob Dahm 4 rotor and 3 rotor FD RX7s. He was super approachable and talked with me about the car even though he had much more important things to take care of. In my excitement, I accidentally assumed the gender of his car. 😳 I'm old, I'm still learning folks. 🤷‍♂️🤣 But seriously, great dude and I'm ever so appreciative of the time he took to speak with me.

Also fortunate enough to meet and talk with and find out he's got a 4 rotor car as well and right here in Texas! So of course, I invited myself out to see it sometime! 😅
