ZAR Motors (H.Q. in Japan) is delighted to introduce the Pakistan’s first Solar & Electric rickshaw. Solar Panels are fitted on the roofs of the rickshaw’s, which capture sun rays – rain or shine (although clearer skies and higher temperatures generate greater energy). The sun rays are then converted into electricity by way of a solar inverter

, which is specially adjusted to the rickshaw’s high-tech AGM or Gel cell battery. The solar inverter then feeds electricity into the Gel cell battery during the day time, granting the rickshaw chauffeur increased time to carry out more rides and augment his or her earnings. Solar-generated energy can also be stored and use when the sun goes down.
